Objective of the project: Present and apply LCA method (life – cycle assessment) for specific product – standard tyre 175/70 R13 made by Barum Continental Inc. – from production of raw materials to dispose of ELT (end of life tyre), identify points in life cycle of the product with undesirable effect onto the environment and evaluate of life cycle of tyre from the viewpoint of the raw materials and energy consumption.
