Activities
The seminary "LCA Life cycle assessment" took place in National Institute of Public Health in Prague on 31st October 2006. Vladimír Kočí, MSc. PhD was a guarantee of this seminary, organizers were Institute of Chemical Technology Prague, ETC Consulting Group Ltd., SETAC EU and Water resources Ekomonitor Ltd.
The aim of seminary was to present LCA as an effective decision-making tool of selection of environmentally friendly projects, technologies, products or strategies. Specific phases of LCA went through at the seminary, auditory were apprised of all main impact categories as a ozone depletion potential, global warming potential, human toxicity potential etc., the most frequent used software databases for LCA were presented. The sufficient time was given to presentation of realized or developed LCA studies, to questions and discussion.
65 persons participated on seminary that got accreditation of Ministry of Interior of the Czech Republic according to law no. 312/2002.
